A mess of fish (in the American vernacular) is more than 2. Perhaps we derived this from the Scots...or maybe it stinks! I remain responsible in any event. :-)

Guy and I are buddies. We are honest with each other. I had just given him an honest critique of a tune he was working on for his book project. We don't use varnish or toss flowers.

Aside from that, he's a gruff old Scot!
