Post Mardi-Gras Song of the Month for March - 99 Year Waltz

Okay! Mardi Gras is over and we've still got lots of time in March. So, let's get with another song. This one has been done here before, but getting back to the basics is always a good exercise.

The 99 Year Waltz is a tune that can be done as simply or complex as you want. I think it's one of those whose origins are lost in the mists of time. With minor changes, the 99 Year Waltz can easily become any number of other songs.

There are a ton of versions of this (and instructionals) on youtube.

New folks - this is an easy one to learn and sounds good with one key or full tilt.

Experienced folks - show your chops!

Let's hear it. April will be much more of a challenge.

Haven't we done that one before? Jamey?

It's been done but not very recently. As I indicated, this is a "back to some basics" primarily for the folks who are learning.
