Pretty sure he's playing it on a B flat accordion.

Re: Midland 2-Step help

John,

I found John Dowden's video to be an easier learning path for this song:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1c8Xn2YFAZw or link #2

Re: Midland 2-Step help

Your link was gomered up a tad, but yeah.. I've got that one bookmarked. It's a really good slow version to learn from.

I really do need to learn that song.

Re: Midland 2-Step help

John, you could use a slowdowner like the free Best Practice on a Windows PC. You can transpose 1/2 note up too with it. And learn Cherokee Waltz? Just about the same melody. Nout

Re: Midland 2-Step help

Actually, I know the Cherokee Waltz very well. Learned it watching and listening to Robert Jardell playing with Dewey Balfa.

I have Audacity and can use that to move songs up or down. I just didn't know where to start. Heck.. I only know my accordions are "C" and "D" because that's what I was told. Why they are that... got no clue. I just mash buttons.
