Re: Lake Charles Waltz

Anyone know of any on-line versions? I've not been able to find anything.

Re: Lake Charles Waltz

John,
the Mel Bay Cajun Fiddle instruction book has both the sheet music and a CD that includes Lake Charles Waltz. Probably could go to the Mel Bay site or a local fiddle shop and pick up a copy. No accordion, but very well done. I have a feeling that is the source those Blokes used for their You Tube.

Re: Lake Charles Waltz

Marc,

If you could post some lyrics, that would be greatly appreciated. The Oregon Old Time Fiddlers get a huge kick out of me singing french cajun songs.

Re: Lake Charles Waltz

Believe Lake Charles Waltz is an instrumental.
Are you familiar with this website?

Re: Lake Charles Waltz

The only sung version is by Harry Choates, the melody is a little bit different.

Marc.

Re: Lake Charles Waltz

John, if you want MP3 copy, send your e-adress.
