I believe they may have plastic reed blocks.. the last Weltie I looked into did.

Why the question?

Just looking at cost effective options. I can order one from Smythe.

I generally don't like Welty reeds, but he says I can order handmade. Of course, there's nothing on the shelf for me to listen too, except some piano accordions that would have the same LMM stock reeds.

Weltmeister would not be my choice..
