Exciting news for all you cajun accordion lovers.

Larry Miller has organized a Special "Antique Accordion Show"
to be held in conjunction with of the Cajun Hall of Fame located in
the Jean Lafitte Culture Center, next to the Liberty Theater
in Eunice.

On display will be some collections of rare 'primo' accordions as
well as a variety of interesting older brands that were popular
during the 'golden age' of one-row button accordions.

Now, in saying that, no doubt the present is truly the 'golden age' in terms of overall quality with the spread of the craft of hand building cajun accordions, but the sheer volume and diversity of instruments sold in the late 1800's and early 1900's makes for interesting study and collecting.
