Nice playing!

Re: Ossun Two Step - Song of the Month

I like that Ned, nice and melodic- you're playings really starting to flow.
Just so you don't feel lonesome mines further down on the original post.

Re: Ossun Two Step - Song of the Month

By the way the names not yossa! That was my narcasistic joke name, forgot to change it!

Re: Ossun Two Step - Song of the Month

You only fooled me for a moment. Linguistics, dear Watson. You speak in a foreign tongue!

I'm still searching for that rhythm of yours, AJ. Keep stomping!

Re: Ossun Two Step - Song of the Month

You keep chuggin' forward, Ned! I continue to enjoy watching you progress and put it all together, and you're getting more formidable all the time. Good job!

Re: Ossun Two Step - Song of the Month

Folks don't seem that interested in SOTM - sadly. I'm stuck on the B-part of the Ossun for some reason.

I'll try to nail it down today and post though. After I listen to your version, Ned.

Re: Ossun Two Step - Song of the Month

John, here is yet another Ossun Two Steps to consider.

I have been working various versions of this tune
for the last month; better still, my wife who is the fiddle player in the band
is learning this version too. I'll make a video when we play it.

I have listened to many Ossuns in my quest to find one that would fit our band. I've tried Mark's version, the Touchet Bros, Chris Miller's and several other versions. It has a nice bass line too.

If anyone else is reading this, can they tell who the accordion player is?

I don't know who it is, DJ, but it ROCKS! Love the bass line (because you know I'm all about that bass, 'bout that bass, . . .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PCkvCPvDXk)
