Humble Beginner Seeking a Moderate C Box for Learning and Enlightenment

Hello, new friends!
As some of you know from my first post here a few days ago, I am the lucky new owner of a very nice D accordion handmade by Richard Savignano, and I'm also a lowly pilgrim starting out on my quest for enlightenment at the mystic shores of the Cajun music tradition - far from the balalaika troikas of my forefathers which formed the musical training of my youth.

If anyone here has a Gabanelli/King or better in C that they wouldn't mind passing along to this humble pilgrim at a reasonable price, I would be most grateful, as my present budget does not permit the purchase of another fine box at this stage, and my exposure to handmade boxes makes woeful the prospect of learning on a Chinese box.

Yours gratefully,
Jim Martyn

Re: Humble Beginner Seeking a Moderate C Box for Learning and Enlightenment

Hi Jim,

I live in Seattle and have 2 used accordions in "C" that I am getting ready
to sell and you could certainly take a look at them if you come over sometime.

There are also at least one cajun jam session here every week, when you are ready to
play in one!

Re: Humble Beginner Seeking a Moderate C Box for Learning and Enlightenment

I'm also looking to upgrade from Ariette. Jeff

That is wonderful news on both counts! I look forward to meeting!

Hey John,

Where in Seattle are you guys? When the weather gets better I'd like to come up for a jam if that is okay.
