Re: Tune ID

Chere Tout Tout

Re: Tune ID

Max, is that you fiddling after Chere Tout Tout? That is some awesome fiddling. Reminds me of Wayne Perry.

Re: Tune ID

That is me from awhile ago. I'm an old time fiddler, but my fiddle broke nearly in half so now I picked the accordion. I just looked up Wayne Perry after you mentioned that....he's great! certainly an unsung cajun fiddler.

Re: Tune ID

And thanks for helping me ID that song! I just found Nathan Abshire playing it on a C accordion, so now I can get to learnin'.

Re: Tune ID

Chere Tout Tout is one of more recorded songs. It's one of those songs so simple to play, but hard to make it sound good. Pee Wee Broussard recorded it, but it's not as clear as what you posted. Pee Wee is definitely in my top 3 accordionists. Was a good fiddler, also.

Re: Tune ID

Joe Bonsall recorded it on a "C" accordion also, if you want another version to learn from.
