Are you sure you have those notes right? F and G on the bass side does not make sense to me. If it was F on the bass side push, it would have to be C on the pull, not G.
Similarly, if it is F on the push on treble button three, the pull on button three would G, not C.
In any case, if the push on the bass is F, then the accordion is in F. Also, if the push on treble button three is F, that also indicates the key of F.
I would not bother trying to change the key to something else. I bought a C accordion last year in hopes of changing it to G. It turns out that it is prohibitively expensive to do that.
Well I cancelled the Cajun IV.. Found out its made in China.. No thanks. I try not to buy anything from over there.. Canadian or American made is the way to go if possible.. In this case, it t'is !!
So upward and onward in the search for a good use made in North America, made by a cajun box.. Just can't afford a new one. ,, yet !! ;-).... Maybe wait, save my shekels and get one next year. But the search is on..
Hard to tell tho who and who not to deal with on here.. or anywhere far as as that goes.
So if a good used one comes up let me know, plz, Anyone??
I'm curious about the Hohner cajun IV, does anyone on here own one?
The Arriette took a slating but maybe Chohner have upped the quality this time.
Like the panther these boxes aren't available in the UK so that prices it out for me.N
That layout has me puzzled. Is that backwards, maybe? Like David said, it should be exactly opposite of what you described.
Reeds are generally made to different specs from key to key. And different brands and types add even more dimensions to the mix. Can you post a picture of the box?
