Re: What Key Is My Accordion

I'm curious about the Hohner cajun IV, does anyone on here own one?
The Arriette took a slating but maybe Chohner have upped the quality this time.
Like the panther these boxes aren't available in the UK so that prices it out for me.N

Re: What Key Is My Accordion

Hi

Yes I did that and it read as F.. Its a high F tho..very shrill sounding don't like it at all.

Got an Ha-114 Like it very much.. a D and also a C box.. Now working on the tuning..

Re: What Key Is My Accordion

That layout has me puzzled. Is that backwards, maybe? Like David said, it should be exactly opposite of what you described.

Reeds are generally made to different specs from key to key. And different brands and types add even more dimensions to the mix. Can you post a picture of the box?

Re: What Key Is My Accordion

HI.. Yes I can post a pic and also others if you follow the arrows..

And David Sousa You were right..Its an F and C NOT G.. Sorry ,,Don't see to good anymore.. Thats my excuse and stickin to it.. lol

Pre war and it all works.. neato !!
