June Song of the Month - Calcasieu Waltz

It finally cooled off enough to work on recording this. It's been upper 90s all week here in Oregon and most folks don't have air conditioning. Been rough.

A big thanks go out to Ganey Arsement for posting his version. It got me going on this song. He is right. It seems simple, and is - until you start trying to get it up to speed. Fun song though. Thanks Ganey.

Though.. is the left hand timing right for the song? It feels right, but seems shifted a little compared to the one Ganey did.

Hi John,
I enjoy your videos everytime, they are all very clean,
and after having read you & Ganey about the tricky tempo,
Your Calcasieu Walz especially is (clean).

Lets see what ya got then. Give it a shot and don't be shy. Posting the first time is always tough, but is a good thing.

I enjoy listening to my earlier attempts a stuff. Definitely reminds me that I have improved.
