Re: Song of the Month for July 2015 - Mamou Two-Step

Christophe, it's a TWS milling machine. I don't know much about metal machining, but it comes in handy in woodworking.

Re: Song of the Month for July 2015 - Mamou Two-Step

Getting better all the time Bryan. I love the heavy second beat. Perfectly danceable stuff!!

Re: Song of the Month for July 2015 - Mamou Two-Step

Thanks, Peer, but what is a heavy second beat?

AJ, Not really much you can do with those very old Hohners, but they do sound good, especially the base side. Nice playing, and as usual, very nice beat.

Re: Song of the Month for July 2015 - Mamou Two-Step

Bryan, I mean a heavy emphasis on the second beat, which give it a nice drive.

Re: Song of the Month for July 2015 - Mamou Two-Step

Box sounds awesome.. Great playing also.. And for sure its danceable!

Here's my stab at Mamou Two-Step.

Cheers!

Wow, Ehren, excellent control.

Re: Song of the Month for July 2015 - Mamou Two-Step

Thanks! Looking forward to next month's tune.

Re: Song of the Month for July 2015 - Mamou Two-Step

yes, grabs you by the balls that one!

Good effort from Christophe too, you sounded better on the B part than the A part there, perhaps missing out the D chord on the A part?
Keep it up

Re: Song of the Month for July 2015 - Mamou Two-Step

Hi AJ, thanks for the kind encouragements,
you're right, chords moves problems, then everything else turns bad.
Although I'm not happy with this take, it reflects unfortunately
the harsh reality of where I am at this moment present with Mamou Two Step in one month, it's the game.
It may illustrate the "what not to do"
