I'd like to add that Rodney "Hot Rod" Miller was born September 9, 1937. One of the most influential steel guitar players in Cajun music. A legend and great friend of mine. He also recently just passed away on August 30th, 2015. I was surprised to not see a post about him here. In my opinion, Cajun steel today wouldn't be the same if there wasn't Rodney Miller. Rodney came up with a lot of the runs still being used by most players today.
