Martin Accordion

I have a Jr. Martin accordion that I bought years ago, but never played much because I developed frozen shoulder and the pain prevented me from playing.

It's a C accordion. Purpleheart with chrome buttons and crawfish bellows. It has a hard, professional style case.

Can anyone give me an idea of what this type of accordion is going for these days? I found the price list here from 2008, and this accordion would have been priced at $2640. My accordion is virtually unused. I'm guessing that it has less than 25 hours of playing time.

Thanks for any input you can provide.

Re: Martin Accordion

I currently don't have a way to post a photo to this board, but my Martin is very similar to the one in the header, except that it's purple in color with matching inlay, and has black bellows with a white crawfish.

Re: Martin Accordion

If you have an electronic photo / JPEG of the accordion, upload it here:

http://tinypic.com/

and then copy & paste the complete code that appears in the "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" box into your message on this forum. And voila ...

Current asking prices on used Martins in very good condition seem to average around $2,200-$2,400.
