Re: Marc & DL in Montréal in 1975

I put this up on my Facebook Page earlier this week. Great clip.

Re: Marc & DL in Montréal in 1975

What caught my attention the most was the way they spoke in the Cajun French to the Canadian people there. They did it naturally and didn't change the dialect to try and match Canadian French. Seems like they were understanding each other well enough. Lionel LeLeux's old house is about 5 minutes down the road from me. They say when he died, he had fiddles in various stages of construction all over in there. Newspapers, notes, etc stacked everywhere. He was sort of a hoarder I guess. His house still stands, but had been neglected for a long time. I'm not sure if the stuff inside has been looked through and saved or just left as it was. You don't hear too much about it around these parts. It's just one of those silent landmarks.
