Re: Shout out to California Cajun and Zydeco musicians doing flood relief program for Louisiana

I'll be heading to this event at Ashkenaz in about an hour. Going to see my friends Dwight and Blair play, and hope to get in some dancing. There is supposed to be a "jam", so I may even take a fiddle in hopes that someone will invite me up on stage.

All for a good cause!

I wish I was closer - I would have gone.

I would have loved to participate, but it's a 6 hour drive.

It's funny though. I spoke with a friend last week who said he was going to play at a big benefit, but he didn't say what it was for.

Pull one together down there.

You're welcome. I didn't organize it, just participated. It was Blair's idea, and Max Lopez, of Ashkenaz, got the venue together.

Did somebody send out an image of the flyer for the event, that had all our names listed on it?

Just wondering how you knew I was involved.

Never mind. I saw the article in the Advertiser.
