Re: The Missing Cankton Two Step

Very similar to Tee Mamou (or
'Tit Mamou) by Ray Abshire, Nonc Allie Young, and others.

Re: The Missing Cankton Two Step

I realize that I downloaded the song from Neal Pomea's website npmusic.org
Many lovely old recordings just like Wade Falcon's website with also lots of information about the songs.
I'm definitely not a Cajun and just a bloody foreigner , but Cajun Music is really the only music that hits me in the heart and also the only music that makes me dancing.
I like the nowadays music too, but the rawer old time version without drums, bass and steel and with twin fiddles, guitar, accordion and tit fer is my all time favourite.
I'm not the only one from abroad and my family thinks I'm crazy
