Daughter of Jolie Blonde

Hey Braves, I am looking for a version of Daughter of Jolie Blonde done by a female artist from East Texas. I first heard it in on Live 365 Cajun Radio about 6 years ago and I forget the name of the artist. She sings the song mostly in French but the last verse is in English, and it goes something like this: "A girl, a beautiful girl, just like her mother, the daughter of Jolie Blonde". I have looked all over for this and if anyone can recognize it please post it here. I will appreciate it very much. If I could at least find the name of the artist I might have a chance to find it on iTunes. Thanks and have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Re: Daughter of Jolie Blonde

That's a Helen Boudreaux song. She lives in Butte La Rose and had a career as a cross country truck driver singing Hank Williams songs.
