I have one question and a few sub questions....

What year was that Martin accordion made?
What was the price you originally paid for that accordion?
Has it sat with no box during the time you've owned it?
Do you have any cats in your house?
Why are you asking so much for dat ting?

Reasonable questions except, none of our business what he paid.
Was it in a smoke filled house? That would be important to me.

I disagree that they are exceptional. Common and butt jointed.
There are legendary Cajun builders, Martin may be prolific but legend, nope.

Considering its condition.. may be worth the bucks to someone.

LOL Bohemian. That's the spirit. If I needed an accordion I'd bid $800 for that one if it was made before 2003 (the year Martin raised base price to $1,300)I think. For the price he's asking, he would have to include an accordion box, ship it to me for free, let me keep it for a month and play on it, then if I didn't like it, he'd have to pay for me to ship it back. I'm a tuff sell because I know better, a cheap skate, and I'm very picky.

You sure got that right Bohemian. Maybe if they taught the word "INTEGRITY" in schools and then did just one hours worth of study on it, it would make a positive impact. I personally didn't learn the word integrity until I was 18 years old serving Uncle Sam. I had it all along to some degree, but after I read it, related to it, and understood it, I kinda started trying to have it. I put my own definition to it...(Integrity - how a person thinks and acts when no one is watching). If a Saint lived their life at 95% personal integrity, well I guess I would be about at 70%. I say 70% because of all the crap my mind tends to think of. Some pretty sinister stuff in there I'll tell you what.
