Re: Test Video For Your Entertainment Only

Greezy, I'm completely confused about it
You put a video of something I never expected from you.
I expected a very complicated footdamping two step in a pre-war version
You're unpredictable and I'm affraid you will keep it that way.
But I agree with your remark about mannerism
I have seen Lee twice in the past in France and LA and he's a very good accordionplayer.
Love me do is not my favourite Beatle-song(Back in the USSR and Revolution), but Lee makes it great.
I can find the basics notes of the song on my accordion, but Lee does a lot more.
And I think that the ukelele is an electric-mandolin or something like that.

Re: Test Video For Your Entertainment Only

No doubt Meloderon I am still quite the purist when it comes to the Cajun classics. I just saw something in this Lee Benoit and Friends performance that struck a note with me. It was an "in your face" performance. And it was good and tricky! Sort of got me to thinkin and reflectin. And made me wonder why we accordion players and Cajun music enthusiast are so stuck on making some accordion players into hero's and not others. Could it be sometimes, because of the way they look when they play accordion? Could it be their mannerisms?
