Re: New videos from Valcour

That's a real treasure.
Sheryl & Russell also awesome , thanks for sharing

Listen more now and love them all

Re: New videos from Valcour

I haven't gotten through all of them yet, because I got stalled on Walter Mouton's Catherine Waltz and listened to it several times. It sounded familiar, and my first thought was correct, a song that Octa Clark had recorded.

Re: New videos from Valcour

Can't wait to check them out. "Wild John" wouldn't happen to be the same John Hardy done by Lead Belly, would it?

Re: New videos from Valcour

Tight stuff. Good to see Errol Verret is still squeezing.

Re: New videos from Valcour

I like Errol Verret. Big memory with Basin Brothers.

Re: New videos from Valcour

Awesome stuff. The videos are great and I can't wait to get the CD.

Re: New videos from Valcour

Great stuff. The masters laid bare like this makes them almost seem human like the rest of us!
Really enjoyed the Jimmy Breaux Iota 2 step, a favorite tune done by a favorite player-
had a lesson from him once at a festival over here which was a real privilege.

Re: New videos from Valcour
