Aside from the shorts,
The Fu Man Chu Moustache
and the Manhattan,
Not bad ! : )
Haha.. it's a goblet of one of the finest beers around. Orval.
All that aside, it's always instructive to listen to ones self play. I had thought I had this song down pretty good, but I see that I need to work on smoothing it out a bit more.
Let's hear your take on it, Jeff.
John in Oregon
I really like the basin brothers version of the song. I wonder if anyone has the lyrics to this version?
Not sure who my influence was on this song, probably mostly Nathan Abshire.
Man... I like that!! Nicely done.

Bryan (or someone else!), who is the accordion player on the Basin Bros clip you just posted?
I think Danny Collet.
Fellow brave Ganey Arsement on the bass!
Awesome stuff, thanks for sharing.
I wondered if that was him or just someone who looked a lot like him :) Cool!
More of a sound file than a video, camera man forgot to hit the lights!

Bon Eoster mon amis
Sorry for the late entry. Needed some extra time since I was working on the words. Not my favorite key to sing this in but its out there now. Thanks for all the suggestions on lyric/pronunciation resources. I was able to find a copy of Ye Yallie, Chere! recently and have been working through a bunch of new tunes.
Hope you enjoy.
Very enjoyable and authentic, fantastic rhythm! The hard work's paying off.
Not many bother with SOTM but it really is a good exercise in performance.
No need to air your dirty laundry though!
Thanks! That was clean laundry
Oh that's alright then!
