Un autre genre...

Another style of one row... Andy Cutting of England with his Franco/Anglo group..
He is playing a 20 year old Castagnari one row in D. Tune written by Andy.

He is also well known for his 2 1/2 row Castagnari "Mory" (I have owned two Morys.. both in G/C Acc 12 bass. )

Like to see/hear other videos of one row players in another setting.

Re: Un autre genre...

That was a predictable response.
Xenophobia, closed club, closed minds.

Melodeon net welcomes all styles of button accordeon music.

Re: Un autre genre...

Why not just stick to that forum then Jeff?
Some of us don't have enough hours in the day to explore every melodeon style.

Re: Un autre genre...

This site invites discussion of other styles.

Re: Un autre genre...

From the heading of this discussion group.

Re: Un autre genre...

I think you deserve a refund.

Re: Un autre genre...

No refund necessary. My only expense was time invested in an attempt to expand horizons and illustrate the origins of music and the instrument itself to increase awareness and enjoyment of the creation of an Armenian immigrant to Austria... the one row 10 button 2 bass diatonic bisonoric with reeds that are bellows driven.. an aerophone known universally as an accordion, akkorden, accordeon, and melodeon among others such as "windjammer". Amazing how many cultures play the instrument and the variety of music and methods of playing have evolved.

Thanks for the responses, they met my expectations.
