Jimmy Breaux lesson

I posted about these Valcour videos a while back, and ended up buying the cd. For some reason, it wasn't until I listened to Jimmy's song a couple times that I realized what a clinic he put on for different licks and how to get people's toes tapping. Not a commonly heard song, I believe a Nathan Abshire tune.

Re: Jimmy Breaux lesson

Indeed Mr. Bryan. In addition to Nathan Abshire check out Milton Molitor with Austin Pitre.

Re: Jimmy Breaux lesson

Yep, but Jimmy definitely takes it to a whole nuther level. The more I listen to it, the more I am intrigued, as I am with Dirk Powell's and Walter Mouton's recordings on this project.
