Beausoleil's version.

Re: Lyrics for Midland 2 Step

I was looking more for Jesse Lege or Austin Pitre versions

Re: Lyrics for Midland 2 Step

Didn't know Austin had a version of Midland. Are you thinking of Austin's Midway?

Also, I'm not sure about Ardoin's line: "ça peut passer, tu sais que ma marraine connais que mon j'ai pas cinq sous." I hear something else. Marc?

MIDLAND TWO-STEP
Version by Jesse Lege & Southern Ramblers

Hey, chère bébé, toi t'après m'quitter,
T'en aller si loin d'moi,
J'connais pas si j'va te r'voir.
Hey, malheureuse, t'as écouté les conseils,
Tes parents t'avaient d'mandé,
T'étais après t'éloigner d'moi.

Hey, vilaine manière, chère viens donc me r'joindre,
Moi j'ennuie un tas de toi,
Tu t'es calmée(?) mais en pleurant.
Hey, chère mignonne,
T'es prête à pleurer (?)…………………….
Et tous les autres qu'avaient donné
