It seems to me that anybody can post anything on this forum. Just hit start-a-new-topic and away you go. How then do other forums do it differently? do we need to change our set up? Just askin'.

Several people have made similar inquiries ..

The problem here is that user accounts need not be created .. which leaves
the forum completely exposed and open to any and all spam.

One consideration of creating a new forum someplace else is that this
forum has a vast history of information .. Which I understand cannot be
archived and posted elsewhere :-(

But, I am certainly open to any ideas.

Other web form software often has converters which allow importing from another format.

One I use all the time is phpBB, and it definitely has import capability. I don't know if BraveNet is one that is supported or not.

I am a big fan of phpBB, and it's FREE! But there are others out there that are also good.
