Re: Arhoolie Records Interviews

Thanks John for digging out this wonderful website. These audio interviews are really great and moving. And what a good idea to have put the transcriptions! It makes it much easier for us non-native English speakers to follow what the musician says. I have only listened to Joe Falcon so far and I enjoyed hearing these stories first-hand. First time I hear his spoken voice too (so soft and pleasant!). I'm going to listen to several others.
Thanks again!

Re: Arhoolie Records Interviews

Joe was interviewed 3 times between 63 and 65. Even after years of singing in nightclubs, his voice still had a distinct sound to it.
