I was a professional guitar player for 50 plus years [I be 74 now] playing on the road through out Ontario, Canada.. Have played junk and also the best. These are two of the best looking to trade for a well maintained, built Cajun accordion made by Cajun folks.. I enjoy my HA-114's but would lie to have the real deal.
I have a high end Takamine Classical with electrics.
Ovation shallow body classical with electrics.
Bother guitars have gorgeous plush lined hard shell cases..
These guitars sold for roughly $2000 US each and being in Canada had a fair size sales tax
Would like to trade ONE for a Cajun accordion made by custom accordion builders that play guitar or have guitar store.. Used box in decent shape would do also..
If I get some interest I will post pictures.. I have to take them .These are older well built beautiful guitars and the sounds are awesome. They just don't build them like this anymore.
Re: Trade high end Guitar for True Cajun accordion..
I have a "high end" Takamine 136 S CE ( yes there are 132s and 134s etc).. High end.?. in No way is a Takamine "high end"... it's worth is about $550 US. Maximum.
Laminated east Indian backs and sides and a red cedar (soft and punk ) top.
In no way are these worth more than that.
Ovation .. Are you serious,? or deluded? , these are salad bowls or canoe paddles and in the US command no more than $500 for the best. And that baffles me that they have any value at all.
Sorry to burst your bubble but you have nothing of value to trade or sell to anyone who knows anything about guitars.
