Re: Marc Savoy's Back To The Basics volume II CD

Thanks a lot! I also sent the question to Wilson Savoy on Facebook earlier today, but he hasn't replied yet.

Re: Marc Savoy's Back To The Basics volume II CD

Re. track #7, "07_LeCrepeANazaireLeTitNegreATanteDolie", I believe a much better title is "Blues de Basile", as the same tune can be found on the "Now and then" CD (CD-457) with the Savoy-Smith Cajun Band, and on the "I'm Never Comin' Back" (CD-7007) with Amédé Ardoin.

Re: Marc Savoy's Back To The Basics volume II CD

I think you're right,

Le Crepe A Nazaire Alphee & Shirley Bergeron and also Tracy Schwarz Trio an
Le TitNegre A TanteDolie from Octa Clark an Hector Duhon
is another blues

Blues de Basile is identical (have them all  somewhere) with number 7

All beautifull

Re: Marc Savoy's Back To The Basics volume II CD

I have a different titles on a few of the songs - may just be alternative titles for the same song:

#1: Sydney Brown Special
#2: Separation Waltz
#6: 73 Special
