Re: Lyrics to Cher Cherie by Ray Abshire

Voila Max

Cher Cherie

Equand j'était petit, bébé,
j'après brailler pour mon patate,
Equand j'suis v'nu moyen, bébé,
j'après brailler pour ma bouteille,
Asteur, moi j'suis grand,
j'après brailler pour les 'tites veuves,
J's'rais content de m'en avoir une, bébé,
et d'l'amener à la maison.

Re: Lyrics to Cher Cherie by Ray Abshire

Thank you! Is there a second verse? I hear Amelia Biere from The Old-Fashioned Aces sing a different second verse from the first.

Re: Lyrics to Cher Cherie by Ray Abshire

We do only this verse, I will take a look at the big yellow book Ye Yaille Chere.
The website cajunlyrics is very usefull too

Re: Lyrics to Cher Cherie by Ray Abshire

I use that site all of the time. But, they don't have this particular song on there.
