Accordion builders

Any recommendations on Cajun accordion builders besides Marc Savoy and Jr. Martin. Someone whose accordions you have played and like.

Thanks for any help.

Re: Accordion builders

I've had one built by John Elton Doucet from Church Point. The brand was "Cajun". Bought it in 2016 and it was a great and he was a friendly guy to deal with. Not sure if he's still building accordions anymore.

Re: Accordion builders

Thanks for his name.

Re: Accordion builders

Ed Poullard has been building great accordions for a while now - superb instruments. Jesse Lege has also recently started building, though I haven’t had the opportunity to try one. Finally, Craig Vincent is a younger builder who has been cranking out some great boxes.

Re: Accordion builders

Thanks for those names. Do you have contact information for Ed Poullard and Craig Vincent and Jesse Lege? When I met Jesseat a festival 5 years ago he told me he was starting to build.

Thanks.

Re: Accordion builders

I don’t think any of them have a dedicated website, but all 3 are active on Facebook, so that’s probably the best way to reach them.

Re: Accordion builders

I'm curious how much Junior Martin accordions cost now? The Acadians are $4K a pop.
