Re: Any teachers for a beginner who would do Zoom/Skype?

If I'm right your goal is to play Zydeco music.
Link#2 goes to a website of Kaleb LeDay.
He offers lessons online.
He can teach you zydeco, creole or cajun.
Youtube gives also lots of videos with cajun or zydeco accordion.
And Facebook gives lots of information too with groups about music.
There's also a group like this one on Facebook.
Succes with it.

Hi Paul!

I'm CajunMax. What part of the Bay Area do you live in? I'm in Moraga. It's over the hill from Oakland and Berkeley. I'm only 13, an experienced accordion player, but not so much a teacher.

On the other hand, I saw you mentioned that your accordion needs tuning, you don't really tune an accordion, say, like a guitar or a fiddle, but if it needs to get worked on, my friend Dana Mandell who lives in Mountain View does accordion repairs and I think would be happy to tune up your accordion.

If you want to contact him, you can email him at dpm_1@yahoo.com
