I remember when I was very young, my mom’s parents lived in Lafayette and my grandfather only spoke the Cajun French. My grandmother would have to translate for me. I would like to learn the old Creole French. So I guess I’m 1/2 Coonass. I don’t know which cheek it is. 2015, bought a Martin key of “C” Cajun accordion from Martin Jr. Got the “Big Nicks” dvds to learn the accordion.
