Let me first say that I love Cajun music, I grew up with it and I've always wanted a box. I'm sure I can learn it pretty quick.

I was at Savoy's Music Center last Saturday at the Jam session and I was looking at their Hohner models (Ariette and H114(or something like that)). The Ariette "Looks" like a hand built box and has dry tuning but it's kinda hard to play. The bellows isn't airtight and it takes some practice to make it work. The H114 (or whatever the model is) is actually a great accordion, but it looks a little different and is wet tuned . Are there other boxes that I could get to learn on before I get a hand made one? Or does any of these accordion makers make a less expensive beginner model?
