Great point Jude!
Maz,since you have the keyboard off, check and make sure it's not your button touching the finger plate,
"the bottom of the button", they have a bad habit
of settleing down in time(wear on the wood)...
2 things to check,make sure there's no (lint,,or
trash between the arm and the fingerboard, and if
you are going to use any lube,,use powdered graphite,
little messy,so not too much and wipe it down,,
Hope this works.

Re: Re: Sticky key on a Ariette... How do you fix it?
One thing I found about the Arriette. You must be very careful disassembing and assmbling it. The one I had a few years ago was made of pine, or something of the like, and the screws strip the wood VERY easily if you're not careful.

When tightening screws, apply just the tiniest drop of contact cement on the screw before screwing it into the wood. That way you get away with only tightening it until the head just barely touches the material, and there´s no danger of ripping the wood.
But use great restraint when applying the glue!!!!!
