Re: Re: Problems Saving Video's

You're not trying to record to "CD" quality,
instead of a real DVD?

The CD quality is very lossy ..

What software you using?

Merci!

Re: Problems Saving Video's

I am using Windows Movie Maker. I am not dropping frames. Playback on my computer and a DVD that I burned, is grainier (slightly blurry) Not a good digital quality picture.

Re: Re: Problems Saving Video's

I think Movie Maker converts it to Windows Media as it records. That's alot of quality lost.

Try Pinnacle Studio. I'd suggest Adobe Premiere Elements but I bought it and I can't get it to work on my system. So I can't recommend it yet

Re: Re: Problems Saving Video's

Kent,

I'm no expert .. but .. the one time that I tried
Window's Movie Media software, it would render to
CD (not DVD quality) video, which is very poor
(but it renders really quickly!)

I've tried the movie making software bundled
with my Sony video camera with the same results.

I have been using Pinnacle Studio which one can
render to fairly high quality DVD.
