Just back from Acadiana

Just got back from my first trip to Acadiana (Lafayette etc.). El Sido's, Richard's Club, Vermillionville, Cafe Des Amis. One musical highlight among many was catching L'Angelus at Gallagher's Sunday afternoon. They started out without an accordion player so of course I was a little disappointed. A short while later I noticed an accodion road case on the bandstand. They announced that their "cousin" Hunter Hayes would join them! Terrific player and singer who has suddenly grown up to be a teenager. I understand he will be playing with them regularly so this is a must see for all Braves in the area. The L'Angelus CD has no accordion on it tracks so you can play along and be backed by tight Cajun/Swamp Pop/Zydecajun band. C accordion works. www.cajunrecords.com.
