Ouais ! ! That’s a great tune. And what a great player he was ! The usual title is Fee Fee Pon-Cho (or Fifi Poncheaux… various spellings). You also have it on the "Pine Grove Blues/The Good Times Are killing Me" CD by Nathan. There is an older version by Joe Falcon ("Live at the Triangle" CD I think) and a recent one by Ray Abshire. And probably many other recent versions, just look for that title.

Several well-known songs have unusual titles on that CD ("Point de Lou Two-Step" is "J'ai Eté Au Bal"...)

Thanks alot, I knew I had heard that song before. I have it on an Aldus Roger cd, though I think I still prefer Nathan Abshire's version.

I've found his covers of N Abshire's tunes a little easier to learn from than the original.
