Sorry, I changed it.

Not much has transpired over there though.

Re: German made cajun accordion

It is hard to tell exactly, but it looks like it might be the Regal brand. They are not bad, but I would not pay $800 for one. I have always thought that Lark In the Morning has inflated prices. However, they do have cool stuff that is hard to find in local stores.

You would be better of getting together another couple hundred and get one from Louisiana, which would be vastly superior in all respects.

Re: Re: German made cajun accordion

Dave and Dwight are right, get the real thing,an LA made box.
They are the instrument of choice for Cajun Music interpretation.
They are usually very well made, and if you go with one of the good builders you should not have any problems.
What I have said in the past and will say in the present about one aspect of their construction still stand, but that's me as I love venerable and traditional craftsmanship techniques applied to their constructions .
My theory is that as well, that a little extra money when needed, can be find, if necessary to spend on one self.
The key is to be patient. After all this is an interesting , life time hobby to be involved in , and I hope not to sound to patronizing.

Claude.

Shark in the Morning for no reason
