I nailed Madeleine tonight!

I had a good couple of songs tonight at a dance/jam. I bungled my second song, Love Bridge, because of a mike that was getting in my way, people asking me questions while I was trying to play, and...well, sometimes I bungle songs.

I came back with Madeleine, and probably did the best rendition of it I've ever done. I've been reworking the B part and finally got something that works for me for now that I can play at a good quick tempo.

Closed with Jolie Bassette, and did that pretty good too. It felt good.

Finished the evening trying to take all the metal off my rubboard to a zydeco tune that Andrew Carriere was playing. And I mean that in a good way.

Woo, woo, woo, woo!

Was she as good as I've heard?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Re: Was she as good as I've heard?

She slept out in the big fog. I think I'm gonna cry.

But Alida was better. Madame Sosthene still hates me
