Just read about the Shootout; accordion contest in Jennings, Feb. 25th. One aspect of the competition, the judges pull a waltz and a two step out of a hat, and you have to play it at least through the turn.. Lose points if you don't know them and need to pull another song. Wow! Anybody know about this? Yeah, there are a lot of tunes you could consider standards, but I guess that depends on who makes the list. And how long the list is. Love to hear what people think should be included on that list.
