Re: Re: Re: Re: "Tit Z'Oiseau?

This may be the tune that M. Doucet recorded as "O'Guillori" on his childrens disc, Le Hoogie Boogie? Here is link to the tune at Amazon...

Roger re Adam Hebert

That's right, Roger. Cette la moi j'aime (est comme un tit oiseau!). That's a different song. On the Swallow Adam Hebert cd. Bryan's asking for one I think is by Ed and Bee Deshotels, on Folksongs of the Louisiana Acadians, on Arhoolie (link above). One of my desert island albums of Cajun music (what would you take with you on that 3 hour tour?). Cheese Read? Milton Molitor and Austin Pitre? Isom Fontenot? Awesome!!

Cravatte Zigazag is close to Mes Souliers Rouge by Bee Deshotels on the same album.

Harrison Fontenot really could nail that kind of song!

Re: Roger re Adam Hebert

a million Cajun songs, all with really intriguing titles.
hope you can post the song or one closely resembling it.

Re: L'arbre est dans ses feuilles!

Maz, dad confirmed that the version you posted, which appears to be a similar version to the version par Les Freres Deshotels posted by Neal, is what Harrison sings in our area. Merci bien.

L'arbre est dans ses feuilles! #2

Further to my previous comment Bryan,
Do a search on all of Zachary Richards CDs with this song, and you'll see that he has recorded that song on several versions. One version is more traditional, while another one is more bluesy. Let me know if you need more details.
