Monster Triple row for sale or trade

A couple years back I got a HOHNER MORINO Club in CF ( that's 5 reed treble with two reeds in Cassotto or tone chamber ). This is a 50' model in pristine condition.. handmade reeds and is mic'ed internally with a medium range Sennheiser clone, with two volume controls. These were known as the best diatonics built in terms of materials, engineering and craftsmanship .. pretty much ever, and these were some of the best years for them. ( kinda like finding a pristine Martin Committee trumpet from 46-55 )...

I had my tuner change it to a GCF triple row.. all orignal reeds ( and those G row added were vintage Hohner reeds in great shape )..

So it is really a monster box. Mother of Pearl buttons and black in colour.. they go as CLubs on eBay for 900-1100 euros.. ( this has $800 work in it )

It is really the only one of its kind and sounds killer..

If anyone is interested.. let me know.. I would trade or do trade in cash for $1000 value ( shipping excluded )

Gee Aaron, you just told me last week the Accordian, you are now, trying to get rid of, you were borrowing through the summer-and now your trying to trade it off?You already lost your blue C hand made by Mr.Larry Miller. That you wanted so bad that your parents put everything into it to get for you.Whats next?

Re: Monster Triple row for sale or trade

does it now have 31 buttons on the treble side?

did you have to add buttons to the inside
row?

Re: Re: Monster Triple row for sale or trade

It is like a Corona 3 layout.. I shifted the C row from outside to middle row.. the F row to inside row ( where on full Clubs there are enough buttons )..and added a G row outside..

It's kinda like it,s not pristine anymore.
May not be too good for Zydedco with the tone chamber. That gives it a distinct sound different from the useal 3 row.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Monster Triple row for sale or trade

..... pristine ??.. well it's neither immaculate, cherry, unique, .. but metaphorically they get the idea across better than.. purdy, tight, hottie.. heheh.

The tone chamber applies to only 2 sets of the 5 treble reeds ... which have a full blown zydeco sound..as does the 4 reed musette set-up .. Motor Dude never sounded this good..

If you play the muted tone chambered combinations..then you get a super duper Jazz box.. which, true, is wasted on a zydeco player .

Still.. I suggest any triple row players try an earlier Hohner Morino Club ( open it up too )..as well as the later Hohner Ouverture .. which has great zydeco potential..
