I wondered if anyone had these lyrics handy, or could direct me to where I might find them. I've been learning the accordion part off of Shirley Bergeron's CD. Shirley, of course, prounounces everything as clear as can be...but my French is tres pauvre, I'm sorry to say, and seeing them in print really helps.
Also, does anyone know, is this one of Shirley's compositions?
Thanks,
Claude
I hear the following: maybe there are other suggestions?
Re: Re: Anyone have the lyrics to "True Love Waltz"?
By The way, It appears that this song describes an interesting ethical contradiction, by describing the situation of finding oneself in love with somebody else's wife yet feeling like a martyr and expecting to go to heaven for bearing that cross. Maybe the last line is spoken with irony?
