A friend recently told me that his father was a guitarist all of his life and often tried to get him to play some guitar with him, but he wanted nothing to do with "hillbilly" music. Now, some fifteen years after his father passed away, he is the lead picker in a Bluegrass band and he regrets everyday of his life that he never played so much as one song with his father. Each year, on Father's Day, he brings his guitar to his father's grave and plays to him for an hour or so.
Just goes to show you! I think that perhaps a lot of young people who's fathers either play or build accordions are not now interested but may become interested later.............................When it is too late.
