Re: Bachelor's Life

I'm missing a couple of lines but here's what I have from memory

Moi, j'suis apres travailler bien dur

Me I work hard
Me I work by the day
And when I collect my week's work
All I want is to spend it

I don't have a lot of school
I am not well instructed
But I have enough sense
______
______

I am a bachelor and I don't want to get married
That's all I want, to have fun
I am just like a Happy Go Lucky
When Saturday night comes around

Maybe someone with their hands on the recording can fill in the blanks. Is there another verse?

Re: Re: Bachelor's Life

Neal,

I'd like to nominate you as the official encyclopedia of cajun music, you should be in the Smithsonian.

Re: Re: Re: Bachelor's Life

Hopefully not gathering dust in a display case!

Maybe with a nice office and gu-mint benefits

Re: Re: Re: Re: Bachelor's Life

I, for one, bother him to much to let him gather much dust.
