I cannot comment what I would like to on here larry, I only posted the thing about missouri because some people on here are interested. It wasnt the point of posting about me me me as you say. You shouldnt assume what the hell i post about. So lets post about accordians then.
I like larry miller accordians, I currently have two of them in my possesion right now. One ive had for ten years the other one a couple of months. It has ten buttons on the right side which I find are very easy to work with because someone (not mentioning me) has played on other accordians and found the buttons to be kinda hard or too soft, Of course its all up to the person that has them made. And on the left side it has two buttons which I dont think you really have a choice wether or not to have them hard or easy to push down on. But someone would eventually like to get a accordian by jude moreau. GO JUDE!!!!!!
Louisiana made accordions are the best accordions, PERIOD. Marc Savoy has been building since 1960. I own 2 ACADIANS, 1 BON CAJUN, and 1 POINTE NOIR. They are all great accordions. Each to his own. LARRY ENGLISH is a great guy, so don't knock him. I bought my Pointe Noir from him. Let's keep all the b/s personal family stuff off of this board please. Keep it cajun, keep it civil.
I only started reading these posts a few weeks ago, just got my computer, and it seems things get out of hand once in a while. Oh well that's life as everyone has an opinion. It does seem however that some people who maybe have tired or owned an accordion or two, some times by the same builder and then comment that these are the best accordions. Well that reminds me of the 16 year old boy who just had sex for the first time and says that it was the best ever. Yea right!! Guy,s get some knowledge as you do a diservice to those not so well known builders who are struggling to make excellent accordions for you guys to buy at as low a price as possible. No offence but, some of you don,t know what you are talking about and unfortunatlly it seems you also have the biggest mouth.
What half are you talking about. Here we know of several guys who make good accordions besides the ones you always hear about. It seems the other half are the ones who don't know. Besides I'm pretty comfortable in my shorts. Maybe I was not destine to be very rich but.... I'm happy. Not trying to be something I'm not.
Old cajun in Eunice, eh!, I bet you , that I'm older then you. I mean we should run a contest and see who is the oldest listee here .
BTW I'm 71, and I'll arm wrestle you under the table, anytime Freddie, and I'll probably out drink you under the same table as well. .
Seriously, would you be kind enough to post a list of your favourite builders , as you seem to know the good ones up in your neck of the woods.
hi fred, you posted that some people on here try to be something they are not or they are trying to be someone they arent or whatever i was just curious whom you were referring to and on top of that how could you gather that conclusion?
Me, I'm nobody, just trying to be positive, and trying to infuse some fun in the situation, nothing wrong with that, my friend.
Be yourself, laugh, joke, who cares about Larry anyways! :), even though he plays cajun accordion, and quite well at that, well maybe not as well as you, actually his postings are always informative, a good guy actually.
I live in bay county up in the panhandle. lawng way from you bruddah ... anyway you don't want me teaching you much about cajun music and accordion playing!
hay clawd, the weather here is completely atrocious and absolutely unbearable, of course. iss always wretchid in the summer here.
