I agree with John. First try a little powered graphite. Available at your locksmith's shop. Actually, Sears used to sell it in the hardware dept. (I do not know if they still do.) Good luck, DP

If you can not find the graphite in Sears, try a locksmith. Some might even help you without charging.
Any hunting goods store should have graphite, especially one that carries archery supplies. But, as someone said earlier, a lead pencil works too.
3 in 1 oil works great. It is also good for the 4 stops when they are hard to move up and down. Moderation, a dab will do ya.
That reminds me of an old joke about Boudreaux and his wife's triplet babies! But I'll leave for others to tell... DP
