Losing it with Chris, Steve, et.al

Finally decided it was time to shape up a little bit so I took the wife's I-pod, loaded it up with Chris Miller (bayou roots and Kingfish), Steve Riley, DL Menard, Jo-el Sonnier, Pine leaf boys and and a few other CD's I hadn't listened to in a while. June 1, I get on the scale and weigh in at a not so svelte 190. Every day since I hang the i pod on the belt and start walking. 2 months later= 22 lbs. lighter. I can bend over and tie my shoes without getting winded and have sort of picked up the turn in tit galop pour mamou. thanks guys for the rythm to get me up and movin'

Re: Losing it with Chris, Steve, et.al

Change june 1st to may 1st. I'm losing track of time this summer.

Way to go, Sambeaux! It is interesting to hear stories like that and the 'journey' and 'experiences' with different recordings!

Just out of curiousity, how far, how long?

How many miles or hours walking are we talking about?

(just curious, because I could stand to lose some myself!)

Re: Losing it with Chris, Steve, et.al

Not when you're 5'5". 20 min.everyday minimum. some days 30 or 45. Switched to diet coke and got off of the blue belle. Down to 168 and counting......
